Mr. Erin Ratahi, MBChB, FRACS
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Born and raised in Taranaki, I am a New Zealand trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, qualifying in 2005.
After completing orthopaedic training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons I underwent spine and shoulder fellowship training in London, UK at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
I have held a Consultant appointment at Whangarei Base Hospital since 2008 allowing me to maintain a practice consisting of general orthopaedic operations such as hip and knee joint reconstruction along withprocedures of my sub-specialty areas - spine and shoulder surgery.
I have been in private practice at The Northland Orthopaedic Centre since 2009. I have a focus on spine and shoulder surgery, yet have not confined my orthopaedic practice to these areas. I consider myself a general orthopaedic surgeon so maintain an interest in both hip and knee surgery. |
