Andrew, Herbert MBChB, FRACS
Andrew is a New Zealand trained Orthopaedic Surgeon graduating from Otago Medical School in 1984, completing orthopaedic training in 1994.
Additional fellowship training included limb reconstruction at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and Paediatric Orthopaedic surgery at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.
Andrew began practice as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Whangarei Hospital in 1996 before moving into full time private practice at the Northland Orthopaedic Centre in 2007.
Outpatient services include clinics in Whangarei and Kerikeri. Surgical procedures are undertaken at the Northland Orthopaedic Centre and Kensington Hospital.
Andrew's areas of interest include surgery of the shoulder, knee and hip. He is a member of the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association and New Zealand Shoulder and Elbow, Knee and Hip Societies.
