Pohl, Margy MBChB, FRACS

Margy is a New Zealand trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, graduating from Otago Medical School in 1996, and completing Orthopaedic training in 2004.

She completed sub-specialty training in trauma and foot and ankle surgery in France, Edinburgh and Vancouver before returning to New Zealand in 2006.

Her special interests include foot and ankle surgery, and hip and knee replacement surgery.

Margy enjoys working a mixed private and public practice , at Whangarei Base Hospital, White Cross Clinic and the Northland Orthopaedic Center.

Margy's public appointment allows her to actively participate in Registrar teaching, research and the on call roster.

Outside of work she is kept busy spending time with her two young boys.
